Week 1 Questions
During the Lenten season we are calling upon all members of St. Michael to join together in prayer and reflection as we discern the future direction of our mission and ministry as a congregation. Each week, a new question will be introduced. Please give daily thought to the question. Below are prayers to begin your reflection time each day. At the end of the week, please write your thoughts on the contact form provided at the bottom of his page. Your responses will be sent directly to the Survey Committee. Thank you for participating in this endeavor.

What first attracted you to St. Michael? Why did you join? What continues to attract you to St. Michael?
Daily Reflection Prayers
Monday: Dear heavenly Father, as I search to identify my faith connection with the church, grant me the ability to be open minded and honest in my assessments. Amen.
Tuesday: Help me, Dear Lord, to understand my need for a place of worship. Amen.
Wednesday: Dear God, help me this day to define what would be missing in my life if St. Michael was not here for me. Amen.
Thursday: Lord, as I begin to wrestle with what attracted me to St. Michael as my church home, send the Holy Spirit to guide my thoughts. Amen.
Friday: Gracious Father, give me the words to describe why it was important for me to join and become a part of the community of faith at St. Michael. Amen.
Saturday: Help me Lord to reflect and examine what keeps me at St. Michael. Is it the relationships, the music, the mission of the church, the message of God's word, the faith building opportunities for my family or have I found a uniqueness in St. Michael that continues to renew my spirit? Amen.
