Week 6 Question
During the Lenten season we are calling upon all members of St. Michael to join together in prayer and reflection as we discern the future direction of our mission and ministry as a congregation. Each week, a new question will be introduced. Please give daily thought to the question. Below are prayers to begin your reflection time each day. At the end of the week, please write your thoughts on the contact form provided at the bottom of his page. Your responses will be sent directly to the Survey Committee. Thank you for participating in this endeavor.

Are You excited about the future of our church? Why or Why not?
Daily Reflection Prayers
Monday: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord . . . plans to give you hope and a future . . .” Jeremiah 29:11. Amen.
Tuesday: We give you thanks, Father, for the opportunity to faithfully minister Your word and Sacraments in our community. Amen.
Wednesday: Heavenly Father, help us to reflect upon the ways that St. Michael's enlarged building might be used to increase our ministry to others. Amen.
Thursday: As we reflect on new opportunities for outreach, help me, Lord, to see my role in this ministry. Amen.
Friday: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11 - 13.
Saturday: Gracious Lord, give me words to share my thoughts about the future ministry at St. Michael. Where there is doubt, help me to express my fears. Give me the courage to think boldly. Amen.
