Music at St. Michael Concert Series
In 1999, we launched an exciting new outreach of our congregation’s ministry: an annual series of concerts and recitals to be called Music at St. Michael. Our mission is to use the beautifully glorious acoustics of our new sanctuary and provide an avenue to the arts for our community through the universal language of music. With the gifted talents of both professional and amateur performers, Music at St. Michael, will present several distinctive musical events in our 2009-2010 season, and you’re warmly invited to attend any or all of them:
On Sunday, October 4 at 3:00 p.m. Belle a deux, will kick off our season.
On Sunday, December 13 at 3:00 p.m. Charlie Zahm, will present a "Celtic Christmas", a delightful program of Irish and other Celtic and Maritime folk music for the Christmas season. Charlie Zahm is a premier folk singer, guitarist and story-teller, not to mention a fan favorite of our concert series.
On Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Brandywine Celtic Harp Orchestra
On Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. The Kennett Symphony Children's Chorus will return to St. Michael.
